Born in Barcelona in a family of artists, Enric Soldevila gravitated towards art, fashion and cinema at an early age. In the 90s, Enric worked as a 3D artist creating cartoon series and, after a few years, he started his career as Creative in advertising for more than 20 years working with the top agencies around the World in Amsterdam, London, Shanghai, Los Angeles, Madrid, Barcelona, Nürnberg, Seoul and Tokyo as an Art Director, Creative Director and Executive Creative Director.
Enric’s love of art, music, design and architecture is inherent across his body of work. Inspired by experimental cinema and underground culture, Enric sets out to create campaigns and films that are provocative and unrestrained by trends. Beauty, style and CGI are expressed with wonder and inventiveness. All together combined with the constant search for a concept and a storyline with a deep meaningful narrative that is expressed through situations and characters in ways that feel surreal, yet utterly familiar at the same time.
His commercial work has been selected and awarded at Cannes Lions, D&AD, Art Directors Club, Webby Awards, John Caples, New York Photo Festival, Effie, IMAN, CdeC ans Laus.
His debut as a filmmaker started by directing a few commercials for adidas Originals, which quickly established Enric as a serious director force. Since then, Enric has continued to make ground-breaking work for brands like Versace, adidas, Oysho, L’Oréal and Red Bull. Enric’s work spans across music, documentary, fashion, sports and experimental film.
